12 MONTHS MOT ISSUED THIS WEEK BY SURREY COUNTY COUNCIL WHO ARE VERY STRINGENT !

Never driven off road, never towed, and only used locally for private use or to carry lawnmowers to my operators. She starts first time, every time.

This has been my everyday pickup for the past ten years during which time she has proved to be the most reliable vehicle I’ve owned in half a century of motoring.  I will be very sad to see her go but I retired this past week and no longer need this size of pickup. However the Defender is in daily use so mileage will increase slightly.

Niggles: There’s a small amount of paint peeling on the bonnet & front off side wheel arch, a tear in the headlining and a very slight oil leak – find a Defender that doesn’t ! Indicators work but R/H does not self cancel. No other known problems but bear in mind this is a utility vehicle with any attendant rattles, knocks and squeaks.
